Our fee structure at Play Days Academy Ltd is straightforward and flexible, allowing families to choose sessions that best suit their needs.

Government funding is intended to cover the delivery of early education and care only. Meals, consumables, and additional hours are charged for separately.
How funding works at Play Days Academy
At Play Days Academy, we stretch each child’s annual funding entitlement across 51 weeks of the year.

The figures above are decimal hours. For clarity, 11.17 hours is approximately 11 hours and 10 minutes, while 22.35 hours is approximately 22 hours and 21 minutes.
A child’s funded hours are applied to their regular booking. Any hours booked above their funded entitlement are charged at the applicable nursery rate.
What does the funding look like at Play Days Academy
At Play Days Academy we stretch the funding to offer it throughout the year. Your child’s annual funding entitlement of either 570 hours or 1140 hours will be applied to your booking over 51 weeks. If your child is eligible for 15 hours, you will receive 11.17 hours per week all year round. A child eligible for 30 hours will receive 22.35 hours per week all year round.
At Play Days Academy, we offer funding alongside an Enhanced Provision Charge (EPC) for each funded hour. We believe our offering is truly excellent. However, we recognise the significant cost of childcare and want families to understand what the (EPC)covers and how it is calculated.
Enhanced Provision Charge (EPC)
Play Days Academy applies an Enhanced Provision Charge (EPC) alongside funded childcare places.
Early years funding covers the basic delivery of funded early education and childcare. It does not cover all the meals, consumables, resources and additional services involved in delivering our enhanced nursery provision. The EPC contributes towards these additional items and services.
The EPC is calculated across the relevant funding period using the total number of funded hours applied during that period. The total charge is then divided into equal monthly payments covering the funding period.
Booked sessions remain chargeable during periods of absence, in accordance with our terms and conditions.

How to Apply
Please follow the link below to check you eligibility, First of all You will need set up a childcare account with HMRC for you to apply if you havent already got one. If you’re eligible, you’ll be able to use this for both:
- Free Childcare for Working Parents
- Tax-Free Childcare
You’ll only need to apply once.
It usually takes 20 minutes to apply.
Once you have recived your eligibility code, you can then submit your code to Play Days Academy, your code will be validated with the local authority & submitted on your behalf to release your funding.
Remember to reconfirm your eligibility every 3 month’s to ensure continus funding entitlment.
WHAT OTHER FUNDING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
There are a number of other government childcare & funding initiatives to help ease the burden of nursery care:

- Extra Working Tax Credit: Help cover childcare costs for existing claimants. If you already claim tax credits, you can add an extra amount of Working Tax Credit to help cover the cost of childcare.

Childcare Vouchers: Childcare vouchers have been discontinued and you can no longer apply for these but if you are an existing user you can still use them at our nurseries to pay for your childcare fees.
You can also access The Best Start in Life programme this is a UK government initiative providing comprehensive support for children’s development from pregnancy through early years, including health advice, childcare, and family services the link to the funding is also available.
We regret that there can be no charge reduction for holidays or absence due to illness or closure that are beyond our control.
Fees are payable weekly or monthly, per calendar month via debit card, Bank transfer or cash payments.
